Paranormal erotic novella by Samantha Sommersby. Vampire, Byron's seclusion is interrupted by human woman, Violet. Byron and Violet are attracted to each other, but Byron knows that mingling with humans is against the rules. I enjoyed this story. The interaction between Byron and Violet is introspective, and sometimes downright funny. At the end, I was disappointed to find out that Byron and Violet's saga continues in Forbidden: The Awakening. Good book, but too short!
