Not a bad summer read, but it lacks the zing of the Savannah Blues series.
When Riley Griggs arrives at her summer home on one of North Carolina's off islands, she's dreading the confrontation with her estranged husband, when they will tell their daughter that they are divorcing. Her husband doesn't show up, but he has a good excuse -- he's floating in the harbor with his skull bashed in.
