I didn't think I would like this book when I first started to read it, however, what I found inside the cover were two really sweet stories about love and devotion. An honest look at people overcoming their natural fears and self doubts to be there for the other person. There was a lot of self sacrifice in both stories. What I loved the most about it was that not only were these individual stories refreshing, but there was the promise of more with the fleshing out of other characters(family members) who also have stories of their own.
