A young bat leaves the cave as his mother tells him to. But she says not to go too far unless his song is sure. He uses his sonar or 'song' to see in the dark and find his way home.
Why I recommend it: The illustrations are adorable! The small bat is scared, but learns that he doesn't have anything to fear.
