This is beautiful story of second chances. Maggie Flaherty Welles is a vibrant, sparkling Irish-American widow whose feisty, determined spirit is matched only by her love of life. As Maggie recovers from a life-threatening illness, her beloved garden - now thrown into disrepair with the passing of time - soon restores her passion, bringing with it the promise of romance. This is a novel for gownups, for readers who care about the English language, who hunger for a story about people we come to know - a little - and care about - a lot - and miss when we finish the book and return, hugely enriched, to our various realities. This a great romance of a novel!
