I must say, I'm having a nice run of good books! But then, I've never read a book by Jennifer LaBrecque that I didn't like :-)

Really Hot! is the last book in a Harlequin/Silouette series centering around the theme of reality TV. I admit to being a bit of reality TV junkie - EXCEPT when it comes to the reality dating shows. I really hate those shows because they are soooooooo fake. But this series - and this book in particular - was a little bit like a peak behind the scenes of a realiity dating show. The hero was a character in the previous book in the series - as a contestant on a dating show who came in second. But just as happens with many RL reality shows, he was so popular that they gave him his own show. But our hero isn't interestied in any of the women that the producers are throwing at him. No, he wants the associate producer. And the associate producer - who was seriously burned by the "sperm donor" that fathered her son nine years ago and has since avoided men like the plague - finds herself hot for a man for the first time in a looooong time. Despite the many hurdles, they can't resist getting together for some hot action in places where the camera can't find them.

On a personal note, the hero in this story had a bit of the hunky geek Clark Kent thing going on, which totally made me drool!

If you are interested, here is the entire "Getting Real" series list:

- Make Me Over by Leslie Kelly (Harlequin Temptation)
- Getting Real anthology (Surviving Sarah by Vicki Lewis Thompson, The Great Chase by Julie Elizabeth Leto and The Last Virgin by Jennifer LaBrecque) (Signature Select)
