Looks like this book is part of a series of five. I have not read them in order and it doesn't seem to matter. It's a pleasant enough mystery with a number of likely suspects, decent main characters, and a pretty good sense of place. I liked Tish, who's in her seventies and has more than a couple aches and pains. It was a really fast read for me as I finished it in a couple of hours. I was casting about for something else to say, but drew a blank. It's okay, and if you have a yen for older sleuths, mysteries set in Vermont - or perhaps ones that include rattlesnakes - then go for it.
