ER charge nurse Erin has to find the source of poisoning that sent quite a few patients to the ER. The ER is on "disaster status" until the find and fix the problem. Handsome fire captain Scott keeps the media away and forms a bond with Erin.

I liked this book. The story of an ER nurse and a fireman both having to ovecome personal problems was interesting and I particularly liked the feisty grandparents and their pets.
