I really liked Temptation. It's a typical male ego vs a determined woman. He is upper class, she is lower, riverboat class. She wins a half of his plantation from his brother in a fair card game. She doesn't know its only half so meets him by telling him he has to vacate her new home. He's mean, she's determined. He is spoken for. Its entertaining. He tries to run her off but she's determined to keep what she owns. She wants to be a 'lady'. He says she'll never be one. Read it to see if she makes it. You'll like this story if you like American Historical Romance.
