Another gritty enthralling read from a talented author. A believable melding of psychic phenomena and current reality that keeps the reader in suspense even as one winces at the harshness of events that mold the main character into the person he becomes. The author's facility for creating snarky characters that the reader roots for is aptly showcased in this entertaining book.
