This is the third book in a series about the Wherlocke/Vaughn family. It was my favorite of the three. As in the other books in the series, the supporting characters are enjoyable and interesting. They are members of a close family who are considered outcasts in society because of various "special gifts" most of them are born with. In this book we are introduced to more relatives in the Wherlocke/Vaughn family, as well as revisiting ones from the other two stories in the series. I look forward to future novels about other family members coming out because they each deserve their own story.

Lady Alethea Vaughn Channing is the heroine and "is haunted by a vision of a man in danger - the same man who she has seen in dreams time and time again. She doesn't even know his name, and yet she feels the connection between them, knows she is the only one standing between him and disaster."

Lord Hartley Greville, the Marquis of Redgrave, is the hero and the one the heroine has visions of. "But rakish Lord Hartley Greville is capable of protecting himself, as he has proven more than once in his perilous work as a spy for the Crown. If he's to carry out his duty, he'll need to put aside the achingly beautiful woman with the strange gift. And yet, when Alethea's visions reveal a plot that could endanger children, Harley will not be able to ignore the destiny that binds them together - or resist the passion burning between them."

If you like Hannah Howell's novels, which I do very much, you will really like this and won't be disappointed.
