Oooh, this was a gooood one! After reading several insipid Regency romances, I was in danger of becoming bored with the genre. But this one? - good romance, interesting interplay amongst many varied & interesting characters, a touch of paranormal, and a touch of Gothic horror/murder mystery - all make for a very good story. This is not your average romance, but one of the better ones I've read in several years.
