Not everyone in the paranormal discussion forum agreed, but this book is my favorite so far. I really liked Michael, but loved Tory. She got angry and had a fit or two, but mostly just went with the flow, and was quickly accepting of the abnormal. I do think the book could have been somewhat shorter; Michael spent way too much time convincing himself he couldn't be with her, and it did get a little obnoxious. I still read every word, and can't wait for the next one. 4 stars.
