All the negative reviews are focused on the fact that the writing is subpar. Truthfully, it is. But who cares?
It's a great story, captivating in its telling. Yes, Bella can get annoying. But the story works well for young adults and adults alike, and have gotten a lot of young girls interested in reading--what can be bad about that?
Let's not forget this book was written for entertainment, not to be scrutinized by literary critics.
