Great new author! First in a series that shows great promise to be fun yet not to immature. Merit is a strong female lead with the sass of "Queen Betsy" from MaryJanice Davidson to toughness like "Cat" the Night Huntress from Jeaneane Frost. Believable world building and characters. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
