I'm a fan of MC Beaton's Agatha Raisin series, so I was anxious to read this book and hopefully begin a new series by this author, but I was sorely disappointed. I found it to be a bit boring and struggled to finish it. I don't think the main character, Hamish MacBeth, is very interesting. This story didn't live up to my expectations of a cozy village mystery.
