Miranda is a young, head strong girl who wants nothing in life but to inherit her home and live her life on her beloved Wyndsong Island. But when tragedy strikes her family she is forced into marrying a man she does not know to keep her home. She falls in love with him but then they are torn apart by war and espionage. Trying to find her husband she travels across the ocean only to fall into a villain's hands and be sold into slavery. Can she escape and find her one heart's true desire?
This one won't win any literary awards but I did find it entertaining and fun and it has some hot sex scenes. My only complaint is any time a supporting character became a nuisance, Small would kill them off instead of continuing their story lines in a more believable way.
