Futuristic romance from ImaJinn books, and sequel to Winged Victory. Seven years after Zurellius exiled his family from the isolated planet of Valtaire, a ship enters the planet's atmosphere. Zurellius learns that his brother Traveen and his mate have been captured by pirates, and he has a half-breed neice. But, more troubling, is that he is hopelessly attracted to the ship's captain, Mona. Zurellius has been engaging in acts that are forbidden to his people, that make him stronger, and more vicious. If his people find out, he faces a death sentence. So, he decides to avenge his family, himself. Thus begins Mona and Zurellius' quest to save his family. The story is well-written, the sex scenes steamy. Zurellius' character development is beleivable. A good follow up to the first book. Worth a credit.
