I really enjoyed this second-chance romance set on the fictional Teaberry island on the Chesapeake Bay. The characters were well drawn and were dealing with real life siruatiins and emotions.

Ryan Hastings has returned to Teaberry Island, where he spent his teenaged years as a foster child. He is returning to help his foster mom, Betty Raines, work through her grief after the death of her husband. Unknown to Ryan, though, he has a ten-year old son, Alifie, after a brief relationship with His high school sweet heart, Melli. Great story with lots of emotional impact
