I loved de Quincey's "Radical Nature" so gave this book a read. I've done far too much study on consciousness, quantum physics, and related fields; this book spoke "down" to me because of all this reading and study, but I strongly recommend it for anyone who has an interest in bringing science and philosophy into a clearer perspective and who hasn't spent a great deal of time (years) studying these subjects.
