A tender and oh so satisfying romance despite there being only one passionate kiss. There's just the right amount of angst to tug at your heart but not rip out your guts, enough character growth to cheer for the hero Tristan, and plenty of mutual admiration for a wonderfully emotional ride. It's good to know that I can count on Matthews to deliver the goods. 4 stars.
