I started out reading this book with great anticipation about seeing the world through the eyes of a dog. (Was wondering what my dogs would say about life with me!) However, I was sadly disappointed, quit reading after 100 pages, and decided reading those first hundred pages was a waste of my time. The comments about Enzo'a bathroom habits and its discovery by a flock of birds, plus Enzo's comment about the possibility of his "having an erection if he had still had testicles" added nothing to the story. In my opinion they were stricly "shock value" comments amd more than I cared to contemplate.
