The basic storyline is interesting & good. But the author's writing technique left something to be desired. She kept bouncing back & forth from the present to the (2 years ago) past, & it really broke up the continuity of the story. I ended up speed-reading through the book, & in that format, it worked for me. The characters were not very well defined, & sometimes you wondered what they were thinking to do the things they did. It didn't work as erotica, & it didn't work as a spy novel, but it tried to do both. 2 &1/2 stars
