An excellent biography of Alexader Graham Belle and his wife Mabel Hubbard. I really liked this biography and after I was done I saw Mr. Belle in even a great light of respect. I didn't know everything he had invented. H ewas an amazing man. His wife was deaf and that had a great part in his work for the hearing impaired. An intimate look at his genius, family life, work and his remarkable wife that had so much to do with his success. This book is based upon the official records and memories of the Belle children and friends. Some of the correspondance never made available to a biographer before. It even tells about his work with Helen Keller and his meeting with her when she was a small child and had no hope. I liked this book!
