*Note to requestor of this ISBN--it is listed as a hardcover but is a large tradesized paperback with the cover folded and arranged like a mock dust jacket. I just bought this in Nov. 2011 and the isbn is identical to what is listed here.

LOVE this book! Shannon McKenna books are all keepers and I blew through this in 2 days--had to sleep or it would have been one day.

Another alpha male with a little bit of a softer side but he is just as pure male as all of the McCloud guys and their extended male family. I know the bizarre mind control stuff is sorta out there but I like that this isn't just some run of the mill "real life" crime plot. You just never know where the story is headed and the evil isn't just one creepy master villian, he's got others with their own little stories.

I can see a couple more stories in the works and am really looking forward to them. The McClouds and Tam and Val are involved just enough with the action and to get a good sense of how their family life is rolling along as well.
