The Tarnished Jewel of Jazaar by Susanna Carr is a stunning romance that sweeps the reader away. I could not get enough of Zoe and Nadir. Both characters are set in their ways and determined to go about their own agenda. They don't want to be together but are forced to be by circumstances beyond their control. Yet, after they meet things change because love is a complication neither counted on. I just love Ms. Carr's descriptive writing I felt like I was right in the middle of this desert celebration. I could clearly see the beautiful scene taking place when Zoe and Nadir first meet.
