Not my favorite Star Wars book. The parts with the commandos were good but overall there was a lot of angst, guilt, and hand wringing over past actions.
Let's be honest, Star Wars is not about deep character motivations and trying to assuage your guilt over mistakes or misdeeds of the past. If I wanted to read that sort of thing, I would have picked up Great Expextations instead.
Overall, I found the book to be meh so I had a hard time finishing it... I actually didn't. I gave up on the last few pages since I really didn't care what happened to the charcaters and couldn't force myself to spend anymore time on them when the rest of my book pile calling my name.
