This book was an amazing journey through personalities, philosophy, and locations. Characters are vividly described through a first person account. I found myself sympathizing and laughing at the characters' humorously bizarre flaws and ideas.

This is a long book (over 500 pages) but the closer I got to the end, the more I wanted to read. The author explores revelations of life and love through relationships fraught with misunderstanding, possessiveness, pain, resentment, and manipulation. A real pleasure to read.
