Little House on the Prairie meets Sex in the City...sort of. Miranda (aka Randi) is a Mennonite from Seattle and Ted is a Mennonite in Minnesota. If you can imagine, Seattle isn't where you would find a Mennonite church, or at least not how you expect to find one with the plain clothing and other old world traditions.

Ted is not sure what to make of Randi and immediately wishes that she will return home when she realizes that she isn't in Seattle any more. He is surprised when she stays and actually finds herself at home in the community and influencing the citizens of the town, although some wouldn't think for the better.

This was a very enjoyable book and it was interesting to see how everyone reacted to the other and how the Mennonite faith can be followed even in the big city and with "big city" ways.

If you enjoy Christian Fiction you will enjoy this book and I highly recommend it to everyone.
