I was on the fence about continuing the series after having read the first one, but the second was even better than I'd hoped. Non-stop entertainment. A smart and feisty healer; a rather alpha hero; a very nasty, cunning villain; and a brotherhood that had me begging for more--I even devoured the sneak peek of book 3 at the end, which I usually ignore. I had a hard time putting this one down. An added bonus: heart-thumping sexy bits. Amber was no shy miss. 4 stars.
