Betty Neels is my go-to for a comfort read. This book had all the elements, but I was seriously annoyed with the hero. Even while he was falling for the plain heroine, he continued to date beauties - including the heroine's bratty sister. He never explained his behavior and made some really hurtful comments to and about the heroine as he was getting to know her. Maybe he was fighting his feelings, but I was not impressed and don't have 100% hope that he's the faithful type.
