Really excellently read book, read by Linda Emond. I believe her voice "MADE" this selection a great one to listen to. Ppl have written in how much they enjoy Luanne Rice. This may not have been a fair representation of her work, for I'd not gotten the idea that her work was more 'frightening', but when writing about a serial killer, then, yes, this would fit in there. My mistake, for I would surmise I'd expected a bit more of a romantic novel. I'll research better next time, and find a book that rates a good 4 1/2 or above, written by Luanne Rice, beloved author to many.

The story, pacing, characters were well done. Best of course to me, was the 'reading' by this Linda Emond. I really appreciated her voice/changes and handling of the dialog.

Luanne did a good job, just not my cup-of-tea type of story/book. My fault. AND I DO read these kinds of books, from time to time (serial, horror, scary, bloody). Others who love that stuff won't agree that it was very much beyond a "cozy", I suppose. LOL.
