There is a great variety of stories in this collection. Something for everyone is an understatement. The writing style gives the reader the feeling that they really are reading something straight out of the Brothers Grimm...and then BAM! The stories are short and sweet...just long enough to get the job done. I didn't care for a few of the fantasies myself...Bluebeard in particular was not my cup of tea...but for the most part they were very enjoyable.
