After finding an ill baby owl who was exposed to DDT , Julie wants to make a difference and she does! This book is a good way to get kids interested in the environment. The things we do on this earth have effects on the creatures in it and it even comes around to people. A lot of children out there really need to hear this message. I also think this would be a good book for kids to read leading up to earth day....God did not give us this beautiful planet so we could trash it and I am very upset this attitude is so common.
