She hires Lucky Doucet, a handsome Cajun with a past littered with secrets to guide her into the swamp to find her grandfather. Soon their relationship is as steamy as the surrounding bayous, an attempt is made on Serenas life, and wellFirst published in 1992, this book is categorized as a romantic suspense novel, with more emphasis on the romance than the suspense. Ms. Hoag is an author who has grown and improved with time. I didnt like this as much as her later works, but still not bad.
