A Giant First Start Reader book. Chatty Chipmunk is a cute story good for reading out loud to an individual or group. It is also a useful first reader - colorful full page pictures with a one line sentence about what Chatty Chipmunk is doing. It has a good selection of known words, a few words to add to their vocabulary, good phonics with both long and short vowel sounds and combinations of sounds.
