This is a serious book for a serious problem, many of us don't want to admit we have until it is sitting on our heads holding our arms down and we are trying to breath -- saying, "it's ok honey tell me what happened THIS time". I know it isn't really that bad but it might as well be--it will be if things don't change. A friend had given me a book similar by Carol Kent "When i Lay My Isaac Down" and i could not read it due to crying so hard. My husband decided to buy this book after seeing it on PBS and so many people standing in line for it. It is the best book either of us has ever bought. Yes, i cried--from the first page thru to the last. But only because i saw myself and realized how i had been hurting someone i loved and didn't know it. If you even think you need a "little direction"--please read this book. The cost new thru Walmart shopping with shipping is only 10.57. I am sure just as resonable thru other channels. How many times have i given 10.57 to my kids to "help" them out? This is a very powerful book, easy to read and easy to follow. Not so easy to forget.
