This book actually took me several months to read because I read it here and there between other books. Even though there are a lot of things I can agree with when George points them out, he can get a little redundant after awhile. I also noticed that this is true when I'd find the same jokes repeated between the 3 books that make up this omnibus.
As crazy as this may sound, I think Carlin may have missed his calling as a teacher. Take away the bad language and he's a very intelligent man. He manages to point out things that you may not have noticed as being ridiculous or incorrect because they've become a common part of our everyday lives.
I love that even though his humor isn't politically correct, he doesn't apologize for it. I can't say that I laughed at everything, or agreed with it all, but I think his sarcasm is can be related with to just about everyone. And if it's not, they wouldn't be interested in this book in the first place!
