In the seventeenth century Emer Morrisey was a very successful pirate. After being sold from her hard life in war torn Ireland, to her future husband, she escapes and decides to make her own life. After finally deciding to stop her pirating ways(because she has all the riches she could ask for)she is killed and cursed to live 100 lives as a dog.
Now she's Saffron, a teenager in the 90's with typical teenage problems but all her memories of Emer are intact. All she has to do is figure out how to get to Jamaica.

I really enjoyed this one. It was very hard to put down! Emer and/or Saffron are great characters, very kick ass. It was a lot darker than I was expecting. I'm a bit shocked that it's a YA. It also has a little bit of everything, fantasy, humor, and historical aspects. I recommend it. It's a very quick read and will leave you wanting more! 5 Stars!
