Although I've read most of the Signet Regency authors, this was the first Karen Harbaugh book for me. Although it started off a bit slow, it got quite engrossing as it went on, and the murder mystery plot added to the interest. The heroine does take at least one stupid risk to try to solve things one her own, but luckily does not make a habit of it.
I thought the historical accuracy of the character's behavior was pretty well done.
