It was alright. The writing isn't that great. The editing is worse. The character building could be better, for instance the only real thing I know about Drizzt is that his hair white and his eyes are purple. Oh and that he cares. I could take it or leave it. The author spends a lot of time repeating himself. I get it that it's a dark elf community within the first couple pages of the book, but he really wants to remind me of that over and over again. I really think he could have expanded on some grammar as well. I liked the story enough to finish the book. Will I get the next in the series, I don't know. At least not right now. I am positive that there is better fantasy writing out there.
