Kate Clancy goes on a trip to a supposed haunted mountain lodge, but her luggage is stolen. It appears it is not a ghost who does it because there were wet footprints left behind. She teams up with her new friend Bobby to solve this case, but finds herself in a bit of trouble when she becomes face to face with a menacing villain on a treacherous mountain ski slope. There is a lot of excitement in this book.
