The story of a child in Mexico, imprisoned since about age 6 for a murder committed by his stepfather. The author unexpectedly meets him. When rescue efforts are thwarted and through God's timing and a lot of work, they are united in an adoption. The real work and bonds of love have only begun. The story of Tony's journey to a new life in California and the realizations this awakens in Carolyn's life will inspire the reader.
