How can you say a book about child abuse and murder is good? Well just read this one. Susie Salmon is already dead when we meet her. She watches from above, watching her family deal with, and come to grips with, their grief. She watches as they attempt to track down her murderer. And while doing this she also comes to grips with her own idea of "heaven".
This book was recommended to me by a 14 year old girl - the same age Susie is when she leaves us. She raved about it.
