Although this biography does not cover much of Napoleon's personal life, it does provide extraordinary details of the campaigns & the military career of this brilliant individual, especially when one takes into consideration the few sources in which Weidhorn utilized.
Especially interesting are the comparisons between the Egyptian campaign & the Russian campaigns. Especially disappointing is the assertion of Napoleon's "madness". But overall it is an extremely informative book.
