An interesting look at the genesis of the idea for Beagle's classic. If you have ever read Beagle you know his "voice"; you would realize who the author is after hearing any paragraph of this book read aloud. That said I think that unless he is one of your favorites, you wouldn't get too much out of this novella. It's not exactly finished, and it's different than the book it became...really different.
