The thing that jumped out at me while reading this book was the unique spice combinations. One example was the sour cream, and dill poured over the salmon fillets. The recipes, generally, were pretty simple in execution but high in flavor.

There was a photo of each finished product, along with ingredients and clear directions. Although there was no nutritional information, the table of contents allowed the reader to skip to the recipes of interest. The author uses a variety of fish types with suggestions for substitutions.
