Love and struggles. That is what this book showed me: the love of a woman with art/beauty, the love of a husband with his wife; the struggle of life in Russia, the struggle of a husband, trying to care for his failing wife.

The first 100 pages were slower but then it picked up speed and left me feeling touched by something special.
