Johnny McAllister convicted of a crime he did not commit is sentenced to a rehab program run by a retired judge and his housekeeper. Johnny is determined to finish out his sentence and then get back to his life of tracking down the killers of his family. Ragan Ramsey is the judge's young housekeeper who is charged with making sure that Johnny fulfills the terms of his rehab. Johnny sets out to do only the minimum required of him, all the while plotting what he will do in 2 years when he has finished his sentence. As Johnny warms to the environment he has been forced into, he begins to care about the judge, Ragan, her family and the others in the town. Johnny wants to help them stop the outlaw raids that occur on a daily basis. Soon Ragan and Johnny realize the strong attraction they have for each other and she (and others) begin to believe that he is an innocent man. Can their love and their faith in God stop Johnny from going forward with his plan to revenge his family?
Another wonderful story from Lori Copeland.
