Daniel Handler has such an awkward way of viewing the world. His quirky pearls of wisdom are often spot on, but usually in a weird upside down useless way. Many of the quotes are actually taken straight from "A Series of Unfortunate Events" which was kinda nice (it was nice to see particularly good passages pulled out) but also repetitive as I've just read all 13 of them in less than a year...
